چکیده

Constructing a hierarchical structure with tunable pore size is practical method to improve the capacity of photocatalytic hydrogen production catalysts. In this work, titanium dioxide/graphitic carbon nitride (TiO2/g-C3N4) nanofibers meso/macro-porous are fabricated by combining one-step electrospinning and calcination process, in which developed introducing polyvinylpyrrolidone liquid paraffin into solution. Comprehensive characterizations reveal that TiO2/g-C3N4 have improved ultraviolet-visible light absorption, separation efficiency carriers, performance. The H2 evolution up 1202 μmol g−1 7 h, better than those corresponding photocatalysts previously reported. This work provides new strategy build nanofiber an ideal solution TiO2/g-C3N4.

Ammonia-induced robust photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of graphitic carbon nitride.

We report a new and effective method to prepare high activity graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) by a simple ammonia etching treatment. The obtained g-C3N4 displays a high BET surface area and enhanced electron/hole separation efficiency. The hydrogen evolution rates improved from 52 μmol h(-1) to 316.7 μmol h(-1) under visible light.

Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution on dye-sensitized mesoporous carbon nitride photocatalyst with magnesium phthalocyanine.

Spectral sensitization of a mesoporous graphite carbon nitride (mpg-C(3)N(4)) photocatalyst was investigated by depositing magnesium phthalocyanine (MgPc) to expand the absorption to wavelengths longer than those of the principal mpg-C(3)N(4). The obtained sample, MgPc/Pt/mpg-C(3)N(4) (Pt as a cocatalyst) showed stable photocatalytic evolution of hydrogen from aqueous solution in the presence o...

Nanocomposites based on hierarchical porous carbon fiber@vanadium nitride nanoparticles as supercapacitor electrodes.

In this study, a hybrid electrode material for supercapacitors based on hierarchical porous carbon fiber@vanadium nitride nanoparticles is fabricated using the method of phase-separation mediated by the PAA-b-PAN-b-PAA tri-block copolymer. In the phase-separation procedure, the ionic block copolymer self-assembled on the surface of carbon nanofibers, and is used to adsorb NH4VO3. Thermal treatm...
